Investment Management Certificate

"Although it's easy to forget sometimes, a share is not a lottery ticket... it's part-ownership of a business."

Quartic Training IMC Programme

Quartic Training offers candidates flexible and modular courses for the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), as administered by CFA UK.

The IMC contains two units:

  1. UK Regulations and Markets (R&M); including the Regulatory Environment, Markets, Taxation and Client Objectives
  2. Investment Practice (IP); including Financial Instruments, Portfolio Management, Accounting, Economics and Statistics

Materials

What will you receive on the course?

Quartic provides you with two workbooks, structured to include every topic in the curriculum and question banks to cover each module. We also include a full length mock exam and the required Casio FX-83ES calculator with all full Review course bookings of both modules.

The slides used for the IMC courses are in Quartic's unique style: clear, comprehensive and intuitive. Although many IMC concepts require a significant amount of study, our simple graphic examples make the learning process much easier.

Prices

The investment fee for the Quartic IMC R&M module is £190, inclusive of VAT, and the IP module is £285. Hence the full Review course costs £475; simple pricing to give outstanding value.

In addition to the course fee, we recommend candidates purchase the Official Training Manuals, published by CFA UK. These cost £70 for R&M, £80 for IP, or £130 for both.

Support

All IMC candidates receive full tutor support from the day they open their class workbook all the way through to the exam day. Tutors provide personal e-mail addresses and phone numbers and candidates are welcome to use Quartic study rooms and facilities whenever they choose. Tutors are in the office to give one-to-one support if a candidate needs that extra helping hand, and all the sessions are available as audio downloads from our links page.

The courses run regularly through the year, the dates for the next courses are:

UK Regulations & Markets: Tuesday/Thursday evenings 6, 8 & 13 April 2010
