Scholarship awarded to Mr Pinpraaj Chakkaphak

We are pleased to announce that Pinpraaj Chakkaphak has been awarded the Quartic Scholarship. He achieved excellent academic results with Quartic during his Level I studies, and succeeded in the actual exam.

With an upbringing in Thailand, I spent later years in the United States at The Hotchkiss School and the esteemed Skidmore College, receiving a bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics. After writing a paper about the effects of China's rapid growth on oil prices, I gained an increased respect for China's economic potential. In order to learn more about China's economy, I pursued a diploma in the Chinese language from London's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and furthered my studies at Peking University, China. The next step in my education was to gain a highly rated professional credential, and hence I enrolled for the CFA Program and for a Full-time course with Quartic Training, where I excelled with top-notch scores.

At Quartic Training I was surprised at how much I could learn in such a short period of time. With excellent trainers and great opportunities for networking with other financial professionals, the CFA course gave me confidence that my classmates and I were on the path to success.

With an intrigue for finance and a number of internships under my belt, I have had a glimpse into the industry, but I am eager for more. I am currently in the process of completing a master's degree in finance from Cass Business School. My financial education will continue shortly with another exciting Quartic course, and I am already looking forward to Level II next Spring.

Aside from aspiring to be the next Tiger Woods-meets-Lewis Hamilton, my professional goal is to work in private equity in London.
