Careers Seminars

“It has been my experience that competency in mathematics, both in numerical manipulations and in understanding its conceptual foundations, enhances a person’s ability to handle the more ambiguous and qualitative relationships that dominate our day-to-day financial decision-making.”

Alan Greenspan

The primary purpose of sitting tough exams is to advance professionally. However, passing one or two levels of the CFA® Program, or even achieving the CFA charter, is only one step. How do you get your CV noticed by the human resources manager? How do you control a group discussion? How do you impress an interviewer?

We are here to help you with our series of careers seminars.

It may be that you are trying for a banking internship or your first permanent role; or you could be looking for a career change and moving into finance. Quartic Training’s seminars will provide you with the skills and confidence to bring out your best performance.

Seminar topics include:

  1. CVs and cover letters.
  2. Interview techniques.
  3. Giving presentations.
  4. Participating in group discussions.

These groups will be limited in size, so please look out for details. Although they may appeal mostly to full-time candidates getting onto the careers ladder for the first time, they will be open to all of Quartic Training’s candidates, both full-time and professional.
